Post Kickstarter Round-up

Thanks for the many emails expressing your feelings about the Kickstarter project!  I take it as a positive sign that we had so much support, and from such enthusiastic collectors.

I've already reached out to our sculptor and let him know that we're still very much interested in continuing with new figures.  While they may not be done in injection molded plastic, there are other options, and we are exploring those as you read this.  Metal, resin, heck, at this point I'd be happy to make them out of bubblegum and toothpicks!!

We'll keep on giving shout-outs to new products, webpages, and whatever else we think is cool, until we have something new to show you.

Rock on, and THANKS for your support!

Beau

p.s. A couple of you sent me checks for your pledges to Kickstarter.  I'm going to VOID those, and send them back to you asap.

I think ACW 1/32 plastic appeals mainly to the Baby Boom age group of collectors. Give it a go again with a subject that appeals to both age 10-45 yr old geeks and the Baby Boom era collectors. Take advantage of the popularity of HBO's "Game of Thrones" and sculpt up some 1/32 Fantasy figures that also pass as 100 yrs War era combatants. Market to the geeks as Fantasy and to the Baby Boomers as Medieval 100 Years War figures.

I didn't find out about your Kickstarter fundraising until today. I'm sure there are many out there like me who would like to contribute and be a part of the project but missed the opportunity. Perhaps the difficulties of a project like this are getting the word out and having a sufficiently long period for enthusiasts to find out. Do try again when you are ready to launch your next series of figures.

Yes, I agree with the first comment. A Game of Thrones/100 year war set would appeal to many collectors out there. It's very popular these days, You know?
