Dad's Vikings

1960's Marx Vikings
This is what remains of my dad's collection of Marx Vikings.  These brave bits of plastic saw some hard combat, and some managed to lose their heads somewhere along the way.  I still have a few of his knights as well, but nothing remains of the castle and moat that he had.  He remembers that this was one of his favorite playsets ever.

I found these tucked away in a drawer at his parent's house when I would visit as a kid.  I played with these non stop every time I visited.  There is nothing more endearing than a Marx figure that is covered in soot and grime and still smells like your grandparent's house.

I had the "Fighting Knights" set when I was a kid. Still have the "Carryall" castle and most of the guys. Great memories.
