Kickstarter Update #3 - 50 Shades of Blue

If you look at all the different Union Civil War toy soldiers available out there, you're going to see a wide variety of colors.  Even the king of them all, Marx, couldn't decide on a single color of blue for all their Civil War and Cavalry figures.  Whether it was a waxy dark blue, or a flat light blue, or anything in-between, it's always been an issue.

When making a new set, color is one of the biggest decisions we'll make.  I've already decided that these new Union Troops will be both Blue and Gray.  The gray is easy, as they will be matched to our previous Confederates, who are in turn matched to the TSSD Confederates.  But choosing exactly what color of blue won't be easy.

The two most obvious choices are the light and dark blue used by two of my favorite companies TSSD and Paragon Scenics. (Check them out, they have AWESOME stuff).  I'm partial to the light blue myself, and it's what I'd prefer, but as you are the ones making the pledges, please let me know your preference.  Light blue, Dark blue, or something else entirely.  I know several of you may ask to have them run in a variety of blue colors, but being a very short run, I don't think it's going to be possible.

Also, a backer asked if they could mix and match their Union figures, as if in they pledged for three bags, could they get two in blue, and one in gray, or some other combination, and the answer is YES.  I'll send out a survey afterwards to find out exactly what combination you wanted them in.  (And yes, the gray bags will also contain the exclusive figure).

Unfortunately, the Confederates are only available in gray right now.  We've had a lot of requests for them in blue, and if the pledges go high enough, we'll see what we can do to make that a reality.
