We just booked our room for the Texas Show. We'll be staying at the Menger Hotel, which we really enjoyed last year. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, and besides what we thought were a few friendly "spirits" messing with our water temperature, we had a fun time. Being right beside the Alamo isn't too bad either! I highly recommed Travelocity for your travel needs. Besides having funny commercials (the garden gnome, which my wife laughs at everytime she hears him sing), they have a super-easy website. I booked the trip without any help from Stephanie, and that says a lot.
This year's Texas Show is shaping up to be a real blast. There are going to be LOTS of new dealers, and of course a few new products as well. I just heard from Paragon that he does expect to have figures and playsets at Texas. Also Steve Weston has mentioned on the Hobby Bunker forum that he might have something to show off at Texas as well. And of course there's always the suspense to see if Mr. Barzso will treat us to anything new.
For Cunnyngham Collectibles, maybe we'll be able to show off some of our latest sculpts... maybe just pictures, but maybe some test shots.... who knows.
Fun, fun times in toy soldier world!
