A couple shots of the Barzso set I picked up the other day. Much to my surprise, it was almost 100% complete. The only thing missing was a single oar. Blame it on the heavy undercurrent. In all, it includes two whaleboats, 12 rowing rangers, two scouts, two tillermen, some cargo pieces, 11 oars (missing one) and a single sheet of historical data. It also has the original brown paper bags that everything came in, plus the "business card" with the Barzso address on it. So now I'm on the hunt for an extra oar. Maybe Ron has an extra one hanging around somewhere.....
Barzso did a great job in packaging all of his playsets, and they are true collectors pieces these days. Even the brand new ones, as soon as they are sold out, skyrocket in price. My favorites include the Aztec playset, and the Tripoli playset. You can see their current product line at the Barzso website, where they are currently featuring their Revolutionary War playset, which is superb.
A pretty cool little set, and now it means I'm going to have to pick up the rest of these ranger sets.
