Whoa, Cool!!
World War I doesn't get a lot of love in the world of plastic soldiers, but Armies in Plastic has a nice selection of WWI figures. They are now releasing a trench system set to go along with their range of figures. You can see pictures and details on their site. I'd love to see some figures put on it, just to get a visual for the size of it.
You could probably make it work for a Civil War Petersburg trench as well.
