Custom 54mm World War I Figures

It's been kind of crazy in Toy Soldier world, but let's focus on some of the positive things.  I'd not seen these before, and figured many of you hadn't either.  These were custom figures done for Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings Director) by Perry Miniatures.  These figures are 54mm WWI Anzacs, and they are really amazing.  The Sculpts are simply awesome, and bring to mind the Pegasus Hobbies Russians done a few years ago.

As the website says, these are not for sale, just there to tempt us and make us jealous!  I found these after hearing about them on the Treefrog Treasures forum board.

I wish someone would do some decent 1/32nd WWI figures. I don't really care for the AIP figures.

It seems like an era that is just screaming for good figures. The beginning of the tank era, and still had mass armies attacking over open ground.

Maybe someone will take it on and do it up right.

Totally agree. I've been wanting some 1/32 WWI Figures since I was a kid. One of the reasons I got into 1/72 scale figures was the Airfix WWI sets. I bought AIP but they just don't do it for me. Wayne, the Old All American

The metal figures done by the Old Northwest Trading co., I believe sculpted by Ken Osen in plastic would be awesome. I think he also sculpted the WW2 Conte G.I's. Can't go wrong with sets of Brits, French, Germans and Americans.
