Designing Set #2

Sculpting will commence on set #2 shortly. We've just sent the first pose and design concepts to our sculptor. We wanted to make sure to create an exciting group of figures that will stand out on their own, and at the same time, blend in with an army.

Our first set of confederates were inspired by the men of the 44th Tennessee, a western unit that fought at several major engagements. Set #2 will be Union, and again based on a unit that fought out west. These men were rough, individualistic, and none too fond of their Eastern counterparts. The way I've designed this set is to pick a particular moment in time, a specific unit during a specific battle, and try to recreate what those men might have been doing and what they were most likely wearing.

As always, production of these figures take a lot of time, but I thought you'd be interested to know how we are progressing.
